I hope you are well and soon will be able to receive a COVID-19 Immunization!

Even as we all wait to get immunized,
PLEASE STAY HOME; WEAR A MASK if you are out: STAY WELL! Help others to stay well, too!

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING IN, AND THANK YOU TO ALL MY WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS!

Welcome back! PLEASE NOTE: I have multi-layer hand made cotton face masks.

Also, there may be a little delay in shipping some items while I locate them in their new home! I will let you know if that is the case when you place an order.

Many thanks to all of my wonderful customers! Thank you for the orders and the patience!

Feel free to convo me with any questions or if I can provide any help!

The 14K Gold and Silver threads I market were made from 1970 through 1985, during the Showa era, in Nishijin District in Kyoto. Some of the finest threads are made there.

These are held in the highest regard in Japan as well as all over the world. These threads are really gorgeous in look and feel. Any textile project would be enhanced greatly with the use of even a small amount of these real gold and silver foil threads.

I still have threads from the 1950s, which are silk core, rather than the rayon in the 1970's threads. Both are beautiful, durable, and finely made threads. The threads from 1950's are primarily finer threads, which work beautifully for hand or machine work. All must be dry cleaned.

I am also working on listing some new fabrics (kimono silks and wools).

I patronize Etsy artists, and encourage you do do so as well.

I require payment of all shipping and insurance charges prior to shipping, as I have unfortunately shipped items and the buyers have not paid even when there has been special insurance requested by the buyer.

Also, please realize that putting an item on RESERVE for you is with the understanding you are going to purchase it in a reasonable amount of time. I put items on reserve for 3 days only. If it is not purchased within that time, I will remove the reservation. If you do purchase, I do not require you to pay immediately. You have seven days to make your payment.

I also contribute to charities as a result of income from Etsy. I contribute to Heifer, Americares and Unicef, among others. A new charity for last few years was FINCA, which grants loans to women in underprivileged areas of the world to start businesses . I also donate to several Veteran charities. Thank you all for helping!

I do have limited amounts of some of my older threads. I really appreciate the great response I've had. I knew when I found it that this thread was a real winner! Thankfully, I have been fortunate to find some replacement threads, but even better is that I found some wonderful new additions to my inventory! There is very little chance of replacement for these threads, so get them while you can!

Shipping will continue at once a week, though sometimes it goes twice a week!

If you have special deadlines, please convo me and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Buy handmade! Buy USA!

I love vintage, and the stampings and other findings I carry add such a wonderful feel to any jewelry. I can not wear base metal! Therefore, I stay with 925 Sterling Silver and 14K gold filled earwires, pins and some other components, as well as necklace closures! BUT, I am mixing metals in the other decorative components. Convo me for changes to ear wires and I will be able to accommodate you.

Many of my pieces will remain one of a kind.

Please note that vintage and antique items may have flaws, dents, scratches, marks, stains, spots, pulls, fading, soil, holes or pinholes or other imperfections, which are a part of the intrigue of being an owner of these types of items!

I guarantee that my vintage and antique items are authentic.

Convo me for alterations in length, size, color, etc. I can do limited reproductions of some of my items. I am not a machine, and can not produce hundreds!
